Self harm, depression, anorexia, and relationshits
So a while back I posted on Tumblr about how I try my best to respond to messages from anyone and especially the ones where people need advice or help with something they are struggling with.
Since then the amount of messages I have received via Twitter, Facebook, Email has been crazy. I’ve spent a lot of my time responding to as many as possible and for some of the extreme cases I even gave my number out so that I could help via text.
Every single story broke my heart and I have spent time researching different problems and trying to give my best advice to help whomever with whatever. I’ve been very happy to help and a great many said that I did help and they are doing stronger, but however this is not the case with many…..
I will not stop helping and devoting my time, but I am writing this to let everyone know that I will be taking a break.
I have to….I need to….for me
It has started to take a toll on me and I’m not always good at dealing with so much sadness and depression and issues. I’m not a doctor nor a therapist. Just someone like you taking life day to day and dealing with problems as they come. I did pretty good at staying in touch and responding for a while without it really effecting me, but now I’m afraid that if I don’t take a break all of this is becoming contagious.
I love you all very much. I hope that while I take a break maybe my day to day life and Artist Vs Poet will be enough inspiration to help those of you who struggle with different issues.
I believe everyone has the ability to overcome their fears and problems. If you are alive, you are beautiful. I hope you all realize that and help that simple truth help you overcome anything in the way between you and happiness.
Stay strong and hopefully I will be able to meet all of you face to face
