Jason Dean of Artist Vs. Poet wanted to share his thoughts with Pup Fresh on Fall Out Boy’s hiatus ending and how the band can actually save rock and roll.

The speculation is finally over. After months and months of crossed fingers, tears of hope, and endless midnight prayers to God underneath shrines of sacred Fall Out Boy memorabilia, FOB has finally officially ended the rumors of their return from an indefinite hiatus. Fan boys and girls around the world are sending out mass text messages, FB posts, Tweets, Instagrams, and also more than likely putting Kleenex on a fast track to Forbes magazine’s company of the year. So go ahead and feel free to heat up your hair straighteners, put on your favorite eyeliner, light some candles, and touch yourself to all your favorite FOB records. Just make sure in doing so you don’t forget the bigger picture of what this reunion could potentially mean….Saving “Rock N Roll” for an entire generation.

Wait, did I just say Fall Out Boy could save Rock N Roll? I’m pretty sure I did because I can already hear the laughter of rock legends past as their ghostly whispers tell me I need to lay off the peyote and whisky and join them in the sorrow screaming from old dusty record players playing Led Zeppelin’s IV.

So how exactly can Fall Out Boy save Rock N’ Roll? Well, that’s simple…the same way Woodstock created it back in 1969. A FACE MELTING ROCK SHOW…..except instead an arena tour. Yup, I said it; I want Fall Out Boy to join the Taylor Swift’s and John Mayer’s of the world and set out on a stadium arena tour. I know, I know we all love the intimate House Of Blues tours where you only have 1200 kids to fight in order to guarantee Pete Wentz sees you flash your teenage boobies in the front row and 45 minute merch lines so you can have Patrick Stump call your friend Monica and wish her a happy birthday….. Suck it up bitches! Your boobs can wait for whatever dreamy bleach blonde, pimple popping, pizza face, letterman-wearing, jock strap you plan on giving it up to on prom night.
