I only have three tattoos and they are on my left hand. I’ve only tattooed my left hand because my Grandfather doesn’t believe they are right.

The first one, 12.10.94, is one I got for my father. It is the date on which he passed away. I’ve always said that he taught me everything I needed to know about life and love with his last breath. I want to get, “It’s A Wonderful Life” tattooed underneath it because that was the movie I was watching when he passed away in our hallway.

The second tattoo I have is the state of Texas. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a very proud Texan and Southerner, but the main reason I got this tattoo was because before I moved to Los Angeles California I wanted something on me to remind me where I came from and who I was.

The third tattoo is on my hand and it has a check mark in a box and the word “work”. It is the only matching tattoo that I have and I got it with one of my best friends Mat Musto. Mat and I believe in hustlin’ all day and all night. If there is not work to be done than something is wrong. I love to work. It is a tattoo to remind me to always keep grindin’ and working towards my dreams.

I also got the tattoo on my hand because when I was 14 I looked up to Travis Barker and I saw him tell someone in an interview that he got neck tattoos so that no matter what he could never have a normal job. He said it gave him no option but to become a self made man and to blaze his own trail in life. I thought that shit was so BOSS and I still do. Basically I got a hand tattoo for the exact reason people don’t get hand tattoos, so that I can’t get a normal job.
